Cultural and extra-curricular activities are the reason which builds a relationship between students and their beloved school. While proceeding toward our goal of all-inclusive development of students, cultural and other activities play a crucial role. Activities bring innovation and creativity out of students. We encourage each student to participate in activities of their interest. Several activities are planned and carried out throughout the academic year.

Bharatnatyam
Our traditional dance forms like Bharatanatyam, Kathak, etc. are not only meant for entertainment. Along with entertaining the audience, it enhances the physical fitness, concentration skills of a dancer. For the last few years, we are running the Bharatanatyam course for all-round development of girls in our school. And the response is very astonishing.

Western dance
This modern form of dance is becoming very famous these days and children do enjoy trying new art forms. Annual school gatherings as well as other competitions give a platform to performers to present their arts.

Yoga
Yoga is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines which originated in ancient India. The importance of practicing yoga in our daily routine to lead blissful life has now been accepted by the entire world. We at school focus on the spiritual development of a child as well so that he or she shall be able to control his/her mind and brain in the most positive way possible.

Annual school gathering
To showcase the talent in every child and to provide them with a platform to present their art in-front of their parents and teachers, the school arranges annual school gatherings with various activities like sports week, science exhibition, drama competition, dance performances, painting exhibitions, etc.

Yearly Trip
Satara is privileged to be surrounded by blessings of nature. Plants, Forests, Lakes, Flowers, Insects are part of our everyday life, and students are pretty excited about it. We conduct small nature trips in surrounded vicinity. Students are eager to know more about nature, to study more about it.

Yearly Trip is also organized, which is a totally fun activity for students. They get to hang around with their favorite friends and enjoy the break from their daily routine.

National Festivals
National Festivals are truly the pride of each citizen in this country. While working on the path, to cultivate national values in our students, HPS celebrates national festivals like Independence Day, Republic Day, Maharashtra Day, etc. with ultimate pride and honor. The values, integrity, unity, and harmony are inculcated in students` minds.

Chitrarath
It is said that a picture is worth 1000 words. Our city is always engaged in different cultural and social events. There are several initiatives arrange by our Municipal Corporation to increase School- Students` participation in events. “Chitrarath” presentations are nothing but dramatized sequence on wheels. We have presented many Chitrarath while portraying different historical and cultural stories. Shiv Jayanti and GranthaMahotsavare two major processions in city and Hindavians make the best of these two opportunities. We have won several prizes for creativity and beautifulness crafted in this Chitrarat.
